Which educations yield positive returns?

CESIS chairman Björn Hårsman and PhD student Zara Dagbashyan has studied the private returns to higher education, carefully differentiating between a large number of different educations. They find that a number of advanced educations have negative expected returns for the student, raising the question of how such expectations affect the competence pool of Swedish regions.
